- Who We Are and What We Want
- We are a professional online magazine which showcases intelligent
and sexy erotic fiction, poetry and art, as well as information and
commentary on sexuality and society. We're looking for sensual,
original work which adds something different to our perspective on sex
and sexuality.
- We are looking for artwork on a broad range of erotic
themes. We are interested in sensual, provocative pieces about all
types of lifestyles and cultural perspectives, and all forms of
sensuality and sexual play. All material will be considered; the
editors reserve the right to reject any work, however.
- Naturally all artwork must be in electronic format to be displayed
on the site. The original work represented may be in any medium.
- Selected artists will have a negotiated number of works displayed
in an online gallery, which can contain biographical information as
well as links to the artist's web site (and/or phone/address
information), and a brief promotional statement about current exhibits
or projects. We would assume that the works submitted for exhibition
would be for sale; they may be simply representational of a larger
body of work if desired.
- The editors will have final approval on each piece to be
exhibited.
- Individual pieces may be used as cover art or illustrations to
stories, articles, or other sections of the site. In each case the
image will have a credit and a link to the main gallery of the
artist's work. In the case of illustrations, the image will be on the
site for the life of the story or article, usually one month.
Galleries will be available for two months, but a permanent list of
exhibitors, with links and a single example of work, will be available
to readers.
- Art may be exhibited under a pseudonym.
- How to Submit
- Send three pieces representing the body of work you would like to
exhibit. They must be sent as an attachment via email, and each one should
be sent separately. Do NOT send all
three attachments with a single email message. The subject line should be:
ART SUB: Your name #1
etc.
- Submissions should be in either *.gif or *.jpg format, whichever
is more appropriate for your work. If you do not know how to save your
work in these formats or don't know which one to use, please
email for instructions.
- Response Time
Response time will vary. We will try to get a response to you within a
month of receiving your submission. We would recommend that if you
haven't heard from us after two months, send us an e-mail inquiry, in
case your work has gone missing and has not been received by us.
- Don'ts
- Don't send samples by snail mail. We strongly prefer e-mail
submissions, as detailed above. If you cannot submit that
way, then email us and we may be able to work around the problem.
- Don't send anything but art to this address. If you have fiction,
nonfiction, poetry, or other material to submit, send it to the
appropriate editor.
