I try to listen carefully
to the young girl braless
in the pink T-shirt
whose every sentence
is punctuated by nipples!
How dangerous trying
to give spiritual comfort
to my neighbor’s wife
as she rests her lovely head
on my lap.
Rescuer of all lost things,
I retrieved that black bikini top
that washed ashore in Guayabitos.
Now the sun is going down
and still no sign of the owner.
