Night Stanzas

Journey

by Marina St. Clare
(03/03/10)

Darkness.

Freed from distraction,
senses heightened.
Feel. Be,
in the moment.

Exquisite sensation,
slow, deliberate, sensual.
Fluid,
moving, exploring, evolving.

Inside.
Connected.
Cliche,
like puzzle pieces together.
Beautiful simplicity,
incomprehensible
revelation.

Hearts race.
Joy.
Breathing calms.
Peace.

Destination,
physical,
spiritual,
discovered.

Light.

Marina St. Clare is a musician and writer living in the Midwest. Most people know her as a technical writer and classical musician, but she secretly enjoys penning erotica and not-so-secretly enjoys trolling jazz clubs. You can read more of her work at her blog.
