There were advantages to the ways their bodies
found naked pounding bonds to lace themselves
together for days on end, neglecting duties
in favor of discipline of craving waves.
They held each other in lockdown grip, cemented
till not one drop of urgent vapor was left
in either of their bodies. Still she wanted
again the salt of his lips against her soft
pink pads, and he the vulnerable sliding hug
of the depths between her buttocks. In other words,
though pulverizing passion didn't flag,
all these two in wornout hot breathing shared
was just a fleeting sense, which would subside,
that shrillest needs were left unsatisfied.
