flesh ripe as passionfruit
sticky sweet mango
creamy mangosteen
slip your thumbs
into my rind
split me open
tentatively taste
then avidly
bite chew devour
this ambrosial fruit to the core
satiated
offer juicy fingers for me to suck
I will lick the nectar
that trickles down your chin
