Excellent gallery of paintings, and excellent political touch for poor Al and Dick. Kevin Thompson
lol! I can't get past reading the Al fantasy because I'm laughing so much! That's completely perverted and fun. This place looks lovely,. and I like the devil's trick or treat! Janet S.
Very nice "Masturbatik" story, with the "what color is fuck?" thought ! SBN
It seems like all I ever have is bad sex_): I like the exotica things and the audio here. K G
I've had *all* those kinds of bad sex, but I like Indigo's story about Fucking Badly and searching for bad sex. I bet her aura keeps her miles away from the bad sex the rest of us run into! Jerry V.
I appreciate the comments made here about my Macho Sluts review. No excuses here - should've checked the current whereabouts of my author before going forward with the review. I stand behind the review, however - mayhaps my next Califia project will be a retrospective of his/her/hir entire body of work. And as for my fantasies, ohhh, I've not even begun to scratch the surface. ...Gwydion Gwydion McCarthy <gwydion@writeme.com>
Pat/Patrick Califia refers to her/himself as "a bisexual transgendered person who will probably be living socially as a man sometime in the next year ot two". There's a interview at http://www.nerve.com/dispatches/scholar/patrick/ . And I liked the "Macho Sluts" review here a lot! Aliana
With apologies to Jake and others who have asked, the photo of _Aqua Erotica_ in the shower was taken by Playboy, and we don't know the name of the model. We have asked, so if they ever let us know, we'll let you know. Brian Peters, Managing Editor
there is a beautiful woman who models your bath book is the nov2000 issue of playboy in the potpourri section...what is her name?...she is soooo fine...thanx, jake jake <jake111771@aol.com>
I loved the ending of Velvet, and I like that poem about the girl and the gunfire! Terry C
Bill Noble's Roll Call" is a fine, fine, short fiction piece; funny and entertaining, transporting us back to the writings of Stephen Crane... and the audio reading is superb. My only complaint is that it should have been longer. "I could have danced all night." Thanks Bill! Pasquale Capocasa <carpasio@gmx.net>
While Gwydion McCarthy's terrific enthusiasm for Macho Sluts is to be applauded, his "golly gee whiz" naivete makes his recommendation less than convincing and the gratuitous comments re: "radical lesbian feminist ninjas" are an odd fantasy for a self-professed dom. By the way, Patrick Califia is a transexual, although he was identified as a lesbian at the time he wrote Macho Sluts several years ago. Eleanor
Love the "bad sex", and melted to the romance of the "Drums" story! Saving the Velvet-audio for later because I don't want it to end ! JCM <jcm4054@aol.com>
Well I'm now madly in love with Laura the gallery editor, a reviews editor, your editor in chief, and probably even the reviews editor's cat -- nice pictures-:) Lee S.
Exellent review of 'The Loving Dominant'. It's a complex subject, which is part of what makes it so powerful, not to mention so much fun. Control is erotic, intensely so to Doms. I think that *all* of our true and intense sexual desires come from our 'basements'. Chris M.
Aeric Meredith-Goujon's work featured on this site is extrordinary! superb! beautiful! kate <cherokee6@hotmail.com>
"A labyrinth of love and thorns" - this is hot story-telling. I hope I'm not the only person old enogh to get the part about the "stand up and cheer" dolls-). This zine has picked up some speed and style since I was last here! Tom C. <tomch@hotmail.com>
That's a very funny Lube The World" story, and sexy at the same time. I have to try this! Jenna
"Foreskin" is one of the loveliest, most skilled erotic poems I've read on the Web in a log, long time. Tension, attention, and pure delight. I'll echo PK Gott: More, Brie! Bill Noble <noblebill@aol.com>
Cate's Eye View: wow. To heck with the erotic content (although that's pretty amazing in both description and scope) now *that's* writing a character's psyche. If you happen to read this comment, writer, from one writer to another, I'm impressed. AF
Velvet and the dolls, the secret lifes in a bathhouse (14 inches!!), and arty graphics in that clever poem - an excellent week for CleanSheets . I like when I come here and find more then one thing that sticks with me through the rest of my Wednesdays. John B.T.
More from Brie Beazley, please. P K GOTT <gottpk@lanepowell.com>
I'm loving this Velvet story and hope it continues for along time. I also like the Infidel story alot - hits very close to home! Marty Brightson
Very nice! I like your tease-staff pictures and the tease-poetry, and I always like to read what Susie Bright has to say. Keep up the good work here! -Joanne Joanne V.
I've had electric sex, and this story sure made me want to find some more of it! Alan D.
Chapter and Perverse by Chris Bridges - brilliant and hysterically funny. Especially the bits about being interrupted by phone calls! (I've been there!) Dave
I like that Knifeplay story, and the Electricity, and the lights! Sarah V.
Susannah Indigo's taking over here? What a blast. Looking forwrd to the next 2 years! Love the "no sex" story - I think I'll try it and shock the hell out of my lover. GT Jackson
Regarding Blue...all I can say is WOW! I certainly hope we'll be hearing more from this writer, and more about "Blue". Also loved listening to "Velvet" it was absolutely enthralling. Can't wait for the next part. LB
Ah, yes, Blue /Velvet, written on the body! Very, very lovely, both of those pieces - nice work at getting new things in here. KCY
Just read and re-read "I do" by Noble...had to read it out loud several times, excellent rythm and delightful sounds in my head...Thank you! D Goldsby <lava

Coming from someone who has just been handed down a "no sex" prescription from her OB, THANKS THANKS THANKS for some wonderful ideas in the "How Not To Have Sex" article by Rebecca Adams. This is one of the best articles I have ever read! Hire this woman! ------- Elizabeth
Very nice look and feel to this week's issue - I particularly like the idea of Exotica, and I like the way "Velvet" was set up with the note for those who don't like Daddy-stories, like the person who complained here last week. Myself, that *guarantees* that I'd read it first! SbC
I was a little dubious when I decided to try listening to "The Reinvention of Velvet, Softly." I've never listened to smut before, but I thought that if there was an option to do so with this story, I should at least try it out... And it's wonderful! Susannah Indigo has a beautiful reading voice and manner. The story seems simple, but it works. I'm not sure if I would like it if I read it, because it doesn't seem to me like the sort of story that should be read. It should be listened to while one lays on a bed, comfortable and devoting full attention to the voice and words. Thank you for the unique experience of sharing in Velvet's reinvention. JadeWolf <jjaynes@brandeis.edu>
The stories and articles often push past the usual limits, which is, in addition to the quality of the writing, what makes this site interesting to me. But that's rarely true for the Gallery "exhibits." Beautiful? Yes. High quality? Yes. Interesting? Not to me. How about mixing things up a bit there? How about some pictures of men? How about sometimes using less typically beautiful women and/or poses? BG
This is the best writing I've seen here in quite a while. I enjoyed the Blue, and theVelvet, the rush hour tale and the idea of not having sex being sexy. Chris BN
How Not To Have Sex by Rebecca Adams was spot on. After a period where our love life more or less finished for various reasons, including having to work 12 hour days (!), its revived to an extent I never expected. As in Emily's piece, it started by simply touching each other again, and progressed from there. Our denial was to a certain extent an enforced one, but it had the same effect! Dave
I *always* feel guilty when I eat an extra scoop of ice cream, but I still like the "Infidel" story. Congratulations to Cleansheets for livening up and adding new things! Mb <mblout346@aol.com>
I sure do hope that 'Blue #1' means there's going to be 2 and 3 and more! KD
the reinvention of velvet....WOW!!! boo <prettyboo2@yahoo.com>
Good issue - so many interesting things I'll have to come back! I like the snow serial, the "I Do" poem , and your new Exotic section. That picture is gorgeous!! Jenna
loved the Infidel Story, Sometimes something just personally relates to you..thanks T.B.
Very nice. I'd like to get stuck in that traffic jam with that beautiful girl in the body paint! JGB
