Wallace Kong grew up in paradise. Following his dreams, he traded his native Hawaii for a career in graphic design along New York’s Madison Avenue. For ten years he worked as an Art Director in leading advertising agencies. During that time, he placed his ideas in the minds and hands of some of the industry’s most accomplished photographers. Through the creative process and artistic exchange, his eyes were opened to the infinite possibilities within the world of photography and his passion was born.

Today, the human form is his canvas for creating emotion and drama. He is particularly fond of black & white photography for the sensual qualities it induces.  He is masterful at capturing the contrast of light and dark, combined with the richness of middle tone grays, all seemingly suited for his nude photography.

KaleoArt.com is Kong’s vision. A site that goes beyond the still-life photography of nudes seen only as art and, adds a sensual eroticism that is completely different from the blatant objectification of sex. Kong is embarking on an ambitious new project in hopes of cultivating a mainstream female audience.  Look for Xerotique.com launching in early 2001.
