Arne Jahn calls this eye his own. The photographer is prepared to share his visions with us, and creates a sinister homage to fetish and the inclination of power. His glance nests in countless chasms between pure black and pure white; where guilt is meaningless and pain is the language of the scholars. He fixates the game of devotion and dominance, and leads his models on the narrow road between lust and pain. But walking on this narrow road can hardly be the aim, and thus the eye of the photographer goes into passionate depths; leads us to an uncertain journey into worlds in which figments of blood, steel, chains and the sweet depravity of dominance teach us the mysteries of the flesh.

It is the obsession of the photographer to let his eye roam through the hidden and the prohibited abyss of our desire. His camera teaches us the inexorable laws of solemn dominance and deepest submissiveness; the secrets of the second skin and of the iridescent pain. His allies are his fetishes that surround him like subordinate ghosts, which he beseeches again and again in his pictures, to share their uncontrollable power with the secret spectator.
