with Indian ink and pen on cardboard, Dmitri creates these stunningly
stark black and white images. Depictions of sexuality and beauty stem
from the creativity of this talented Russian artist.
Dmitri draws his
inspiration from a variety of sources. As a young artist, his images
were heavily influenced by the works of Aubrey Beardsley, Odilon Redon
and Elizabeth Kruglikova. An influence that continues today.
At the core, his images are "drawn from the
unconscious and used to obtain an unusual amalgam of abstraction and
reality."
