Forrest Black and Amelia G are best known for their counterculture erotic photography and even their fully clothed rock and fashion work is informed by a certain alternative erotic sensibility.  Their vibrantly colorful images seize the viewer in a Gothic velvet fist and share an idiosyncratic depiction of what is gorgeous.  Where a lot of photographers capture freak culture on film like they are going to the zoo, Forrest Black and Amelia G are shooting a world they are a part of.  They shoot with the intention of showing the beauty and individuality of their subjects.

Forrest Black and Amelia G started off shooting for their own magazine Blue Blood.  In print, Blue Blood features real life couples doing what they love to do.  Over time, Forrest and Amelia have branched out to be regular contributors to magazines such as Gothic Beauty, Marquis, and Tattoo Savage.  Their images have graced the pages of On Our Backs, Skin Two, and Secret.  They have also done photography for multiple publications from Hustler, Playboy, and Penthouse.  MTV will feature some of their photography in a special on Gothic sexuality in 2002.

The web has created the wonderful opportunity to bring their creations directly to the people who will enjoy them most, without having to adjust their vision in order to please narrow-minded distributors or to fit mainstream publications which must please narrow-minded distributors.  The web has truly enabled Forrest and Amelia to keep their artistic vision pure.

Forrest Black and Amelia G have no weight or body type restrictions in who they choose to shoot.  Instead Forrest and Amelia seek the passion and unique style and charisma which transform into star quality in front of their camera.  They are not interested in dressing models up to look punk or Gothic or glam.  They shoot real people who actually are cool. Although more publications are interested in their pictures of women, Forrest and Amelia find radiance in unusual women, unusual men, and those in transition, without bias.  They appreciate Clean Sheets having an intelligent outlook on the varied world of human eroticism and the openness to want to showcase some of Forrest Black and Amelia G's photographs of beautiful males.
