Venus enters Libra on August 6th,
where she enjoys a position of dominance. Any interplay involving command and control --
for example, control of or by you -- will be easily expressed.
Relationships of all kinds will be front and center -- observe, fine-tune,
and expand on themes. Doubling this, and you may interpret that any way you choose,
is the opposition that Venus then develops with Uranus
on the 7th. Is it love, lust, or a combo pack? And how long will it last?
One thing guaranteed is that boundaries will be stretched, and in that stretching
lies a little bit of magic. Venus remains busy, and squares Pluto on the 9th &
10th; now is the time when those revamped power dynamics will be truly tested.
Try to go with the flow, as opposed to returning to how things used to be.
Why settle for the comfort of routine when the fear of discovery
(about your own limits and dark desires) is so exciting?
A more long-term aspect arrives on August 13th (until March 11, 2011), when Uranus
enters Pisces. Changes should be expected and welcomed. Let partners know what
you need; what you want from them, to do to them, or have them do to/with you.
Word -- don't have this conversation while you're actually doing someone.
Mercury does its retro dance
again on August 20 (until September 12th); this usually sucks...and not the good way.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Do not do your usual Aries routine and try to force relationships that may
already be difficult. If things hang in the balance of "tie me up or cut me free"
then be very careful how you handle the situation. You may find yourself
attracted to someone or some style of doing things that is not your normal modus operandi.
The confusion of Mercury Retrograde from the 12th may
actually amplify this in a very "I thought I wanted to put that in there" way...it
looked like it'd fit. Don't take pictures, don't Facebook, don't Twitter...in fact,
do not even write anyone a note.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Excellent month for enhancing partnerships of all kinds; all kinds...meaning
everyone you touch in every way you touch them. You will make love instead
of dick-sticking, kiss passionately instead of sucking face, caress gently instead
of spreading those ass cheeks and diving in. You will want to indulge in visits
to beautiful places, and when you do you will be inspired. On second thought, stock
up on some lube, spread some cheeks -- yours or theirs -- and do some diving. It can
sometimes be untapped territory, and done right is a beautiful place to be...and be had.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Your inner twins are happily sleeping on the same side of the bed this month --
all is good in inner turmoil land. Mercury Retrograde may provide reunions of
sorts, and these could be in person or bubble up from within your deep murky memory bank.
Remembering just how good you were together might get you dialing numbers for old time's
sake. Remember this though -- you can go back and hit it again, but you can't
really go back. Your observational skills are strong, so yeah, they probably are
checking you out, but watch for occasional slips of the tongue that don't end up
somewhere warm and wet. Even you say the wrong thing sometimes...rarely, but yes,
you do.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Mars is bugging you this month like a pesky partner that just won't stop talking.
You know the kind -- the coitus is over, the cuddle is done...still talking.
Mars wants you to get moving on something, but you are feeling pretty good
where you are, and this is where tension brews. As a result, you may find yourself
somewhat klutzy. Things seem postponed or delayed, and things that are total
come-triggers...aren't. You can't beat this off-balanced feeling, because you
didn't really cause it; just relax and you'll eventually get where you're trying to go.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
You are purring like a pussy whose fur has been rubbed just the right way,
or has licked up the last of the cream. That sense that you must roar like
a wild beast in order to get the attention you so often desire is, for the moment,
just not there. Weird, isn't it? Oh, you'll be back to normal soon enough;
think of this as a vacation from yourself. Face to face and one on one partnerships
are heavily favored over the next few weeks, especially with those you already know.
Have anyone in mind? Is there someone you missed? Summer's not over yet...and neither
are you.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Fortunately you have good friends who give you plenty of latitude when you're
being a pain in the butt. It's very nice that you love to take care of people, but
sometimes they don't want to be taken care of. That's key. Remember it.
If you've been rejected (oh, how you hate that) then take yourself off to the feel-good
store and buy something newer, bigger, slip-sliddier (I might have made that word up),
dirtier, tighter...whatever. Mercury Retrograde could cause you to take on
even more responsibilities than you should. Don't do it. Just do you.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Mars in your sign is driving you to action -- hopefully in a very cool drop top.
You want to change things up, and are determined to find new friends, develop new
relationships and explore opportunities as they appear. And you know that a
great big part of being able to explore an opportunity is recognizing it as one
as it sashays past you, leaving the very air that surrounds you sparking and
sizzling and steaming. Take charge this month before things cool off.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Why are they afraid of you? Because they should be...it's the way things are
supposed to be. This month you can relax a little bit, but in your usual fashion,
which is to not let anyone know what's really going on inside. Mercury Retrograde
will bring you days-gone-by lovers; they don't expect you'll go another round with
them for old time sakes, but they're ever hopeful. If they catch you on a
generous day, you may indeed take them for a spin, if only to cement for them
that you were indeed the best they ever had. Now excuse them just like you did
the last time...or was it the first time? Doesn't matter; when you're done, you're
done.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
July kind of kicked your ass,
but August will prove to be an easier few weeks...oh, it'll just pass a little faster,
‘cause you're having more fun. Your ability as an arbitrator is quite strong,
and aided by Venus' fair hand. Personal feuds remain sticky,
but you'll be able to help others smooth over their differences. As you go back
and forth between warring sides, do not bend to the desire to comfort opposing
camps with your tongue or fingers; do not whisper soothing words in eager ears;
do not enter them with anything attached to or held by you. Unless you think you
can get away with it...is that a peace pipe in your pocket?
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
This month and next might prove difficult for you. Something is not
sitting right, but you're not quite sure what it is. Time will tell -- it always does.
Venus and Mars in Libra may have you acting impulsively. You might initiate a
relationship, or end one without thinking things through. The fact that you're acting
a little funny could cause those you involve yourself with to misunderstand your
intentions, and they will then end it with you. And what we do know about you is that
when you're not actually getting some of the good stuff, you're just not good, so
for the time being, it would be much safer for you just to chill....that way you
can at least keep what you've got.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Unlike Capricorn above, Venus and Mars in Libra work to improve your ability to
interact with a wide spectrum of the population. Please do the dirty dance with
raincoats on, but go on and do your thing wherever, whenever, however, and with
whomever you choose. It is the right time to go after what you want.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
This month proves restful for you, but do not confuse restfulness with inactivity.
It's like the difference between relaxing and lazy. One is downtime after getting busy,
the other is too slothful to get busy -- worlds apart. The bonus in all this Zen-like
state of being is that you will find satisfaction in a job well done. You will be
more concerned with how they came as opposed to how much you came.
Their pleasure is your satisfaction. This completes you...for the next few weeks
anyway.
