Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia, Julia Dudnik-Ptasznik is an artist, writer, and poet, residing in New York. In addition to consulting work for clients such as the United Nations, Sprint PCS, and Dominos Pizza, Julia's art and writing have been published globally, in both magazines (e.g., HOW, USA; Exchange, Canada; Desktop, Australia) and books (e.g., "Of Screen and Type," in C.R. Harris and P.M. Lester, 2002, Visual Journalism: A Guide for New Media Professionals). She is also the founding editor of the US/UK publication Visual Arts Trends, and contributing editor/film columnist of the Portugal-based e-zine Scene 360.
